Botanical Butterfly Nugget Box

So how gorgeous is this?  What a pretty gift to give someone to brighten their day and remind them Spring is almost here!

Here's how to make one!

What you'll need:

Beauty Abounds set
Memento ink pad
Basic Black CS
Grapefruit Grove CS
SAB Botanical Butterfly DSP
Butterfly Duet Punch
Starburst Punch
1-3/4" Circle Punch
SAB Organdy Ribbon (sold out, you can substitute any ribbon you have on hand!)
Stampin' Dimensionals
SNAIL
Ten Hershey Nuggets

For the bottom box:
1) Basic Black cut to 6.25x4, scored on all four sides at 5/8"
2) Snip one score line all the way around to create 4 tabs.
3) Wedge the tabs and then attach to inside of box using mini glue dots

For the nuggets:
1) cut ten strips of Butterfly DSP 3x1
2) using mini glue dots, attach each strip to the bottom of nugget, lining dsp up with the wrapper and wrap dsp strip around nugget, attaching 2nd end with mini glue dots
3) punch ten butterfliets out of dsp and attach to each nugget using mini glue dot

For the slider cover:
1) Basic Black cut to 7.75x5.25, scored on the long side from one end at 1-3/8" & 2", flip around and score other end at 2.25" & 2-7/8"
2) Use tear & tape on the longer rectangle edge
3) Fill box with nuggets and place slider cover over them. Flip over so nuggets are face-down. Attach slider edge by removing tear & tape liner.

To decorate the top of the box:
1) Cut a piece of Butterfly DSP at 2-5/8x5, attach using SNAIL
2) Tie a ribbon lengthwise around box
3) Punch a Starburst from Black CS.
4) Punch a Circle from Grapefruit CS
5) Stamp "for you" in Memento on the Grapefruit circle
6) Attach Grapefruit circle to Black Starburst
7) Attach Black Starburst to the box top using Stampin' Dimensionals
8) Punch a large butterfly from DSP and attach to Grapefruit circle using dimensionals

Eastern Beauty Box with 4x4 note cards

Hi Everyone!  I've been out of the blogging loop for awhile, but I'm happy to announce that I'm back and have even included a video!!  Please comment and let me know what you think and don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have!

Here we go!

Eastern Beauty Box with 4" x 4" note cards and envelopes

What you'll need:

Eastern Beauty Stamp Set (recommended clear blocks A, C, & D)

Eastern Medallion Thinlits - Cut out medallions as shown

Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) - 1 piece cut 3" x 12", 4 pieces cut 3.5" x 3.5", one piece of foiled paper cut 4" x 4"

Dapper Denim (12" x 12") cardstock - 1 piece cut 12" x 6.5"; 4 pieces cut 4" x 8"

Fresh Fig (8.5" x 11") cardstock - use to cut 5 medallions with Big Shot

Very Vanilla (8.5" x 11") cardstock - 4 pieces cut 3.75" x 3.75"; use to cut five 4-point medallions with Big Shot; 4 pieces cut 6-7/8" x 6-7/8" for envelopes

Tear & Tape adhesive

SNAIL adhesive

What you'll do for the Box & Belly Band:

For the Box:
Score long side of 12" x 6.5" Dapper Denim piece at 1", 5.5", 6.5", 11".
Score narrow side at 1" and 5.5".

Crease on all score lines.  Snip each short score line up to long 12" score line. Snip out small wedges on each tab.

Apply small piece of tear & tape to each tab on front side of tabs.

Attach tabs to adjacent sides to create a "pizza box".

For the Belly Band:
Wrap 3" x 12" Eastern Palace DSP strip around box (not too tightly, but not so loosely that it slips off too easily).

Apply SNAIL adhesive to top edge, attach - creating a belly band.

Attach 4" x 4" foiled DSP piece to belly band using SNAIL.

Attach one Fresh Fig medallion to center using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp 1 Vanilla 4-point medallion with Dotted Circle stamp and "enjoy today" stamp in Dapper Denim ink.  Attach this piece to fig medallion using Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the 4" x 4" note cards:
Fold all four 4" x 8" Dapper Denim pieces in half to create your card bases.

Attach one 3.75" x 3.75" vanilla piece to inside of each card using SNAIL.

Attach one 3.5" x 3.5" Eastern Palace DSP piece to front of each card using SNAIL.

Attach one Fresh Fig medallion to each card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp four vanilla 4-point medallions with "to think of you is to smile" stamp using Dapper Denim ink.  Attach one to each card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the Envelopes:
Align one vanilla 6-7/8" x 6-7/8" piece along top each of Envelope Punch Board at the 3.5" mark.  Punch and score using provided scoring tool.

Turn piece to next side and line up score line with pointy plastic guide.  Punch and score.

Repeat for remaining two sides.  You only use the 3.5" mark for the first side.

Fold on all creases and use SNAIL on two side flaps to create envelope.

Flip punch board over and punch the tip of the top flap to create a rounded flap.
