Here are some of the Card Folios I've been making this week. Comment or contact me for the directions. These are very easy to make and can be made using standard cards (the first three folios) or Stampin' Up! note cards (the fourth one - "for you").
I think the first place I saw this idea was in the Summer 2006 Take Ten magazine.
This was made using Urban Oasis DSP & the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set:

This was made using my last piece of Parisian Summer Specialty DSP. I used Versamark and the Friendly Words Jumbo Wheel, along with the Scallop Oval, Oval Punches and Three Little Words stamp set.

This one was made using a Medium Window Sheet (look in the Occasions Mini) and SAB paper, along with the Beautiful Butterflies die and some metallic stick-ons.
This last one is my favorite. It was made for the Stampin' Up! notecards and envelopes (20 of each for $5.95 in the Idea Book and Catalog), one sheet of Pacific Point card stock, Pacific Point ribbon, Ice brads and the Great Friend set (look in the Occasions Mini)...

Sharon, I think it's great you have a blog. So many people I know do and I STILL don't. Thanks for sharing your creations with us! I like the simplicity and monochromatic look of the ones you used with your last piece of Parisian Breeze and how you got creative with your jumbo wheel.
ReplyDeleteLovely creations Sharon and I love the card folder. One note though, the stamp set in the first set is Fifth Ave Floral (pg. 106) not Manhattan Flowers. I'm guessing you were thinking of the Manhattan Impressions Embossing die/folder. I do that quite a lot myself.
ReplyDeleteTime to play and CASE. Thanks for sharing the inspiration.
Hugs and blessings from a sister demo - Jean
Jean - thanks for the correction! I've fixed it in the description! Yes, I do keep thinking its Manhatten Flowers....and I do love that embossing folder!
ReplyDeleteSharon - this ensemble is so nice! I love the use of the butterflies...........TFS! Best, Patti
